High-performance laser rangefinder for distances up to 915 meters. Designed to offer incredibly clear views, it features an active brightness control function that automatically turns on and adjusts the brightness of the viewfinder's LED in low-light. Quick and easy-to-use, it is equipped with Nikon's Target Priority Switch System that allows you to switch between First Target Priority mode (that gives priority to the nearest target and is just the thing for golf) and Distant Target Priority mode (that gives priority to the target furthest away and is ideal for hunting). For golfers, a specialized Golf mode provides simultaneous slope-adjusted distance (horizontal distance ± height) and actual distance to help determine which is the right club to use.- Quick, simple operation makes it easy to find the perfect range. The PROSTAFF 5 Fieldscopes are entry models of Nikon Fieldscopes and successors of the Spotting Scope RA III series. The PROSTAFF 5 Fieldscope main bodies are about 20% lighter than the current RA III spotting scopes.The newly developed zoom eyepiece lens minimises colour aberration at the edge of the field of view, and offers long eye relief for viewing comfort. Three types of eyepiece lenses with digiscoping compatibility which connect to a wide variety of COOLPIX-series compact digital cameras, by using the FSB-series Digital Camera Bracket. Lightweight main body reduced by about 20% compared to the current model.- Minimized colour aberration at the edge of the field of view and long eye relief are achieved with the newly developed zoom eyepiece lens.
